Job Title: Customer Care Representative
Location: Irvine
Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
About Us: Medix™ is a prominent provider of cutting-edge diagnostic solutions, focusing on UTI test kits. Our commitment lies in delivering outstanding service to our clients, which include healthcare professionals and medical facilities. We are in search of a dedicated Customer Care Representative to become a vital part of our energetic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service while fostering strong relationships with clients, patients, and the Sales Department.
- Efficiently manage a significant volume of inbound and outbound communications via phone and email.
- Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries received through various channels.
- Address and resolve issues related to held specimens and additional information requirements.
- Communicate case rejections to the Sales Department utilizing Salesforce.
- Distribute patient reports to the relevant facilities through fax, email, and other methods.
- Generate and follow up on reports that require corrections or amendments.
- Document all client interactions in Salesforce and the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Work closely with Sales and Logistics teams, providing support to a designated territory manager.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in phone-based customer service, with a strong command of phone and email communication.
- Previous experience collaborating with a sales team is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, and proficiency in MS Suite is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a quick learning ability are essential.
Who You'll Be Communicating With:
- Clients, including healthcare providers, medical assistants, front office personnel, and physicians.
- Engage in discussions regarding orders, track shipments, address account inquiries, and occasionally resolve order-related issues with the assistance of internal teams and territory managers.
- Billing inquiries will be directed to the billing department.
Team Dynamics: Join our close-knit team of four, playing a crucial role in supporting our clients and sales team. This position offers the opportunity to cultivate meaningful connections and advance within our organization.
