About the Role

SCIEX, a leading provider of mass spectrometry and capillary electrophoresis solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Customer Onboarding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service Organization, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer interactions from receipt of purchase order through delivery and installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring prompt and effective issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with sales and field service engineers to understand site and product requirements, ensuring successful and timely installation.
  • Manage site and/or product requirements, including shipping, delivery, customer site readiness, and supply chain coordination to meet customer expectations and order fulfillment requirements.
  • Advocate and amplify customer needs within the organization, providing feedback that impacts business decisions and processes.
  • Develop and maintain robust and repeatable processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on the status of orders, revenue, and any issues or risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Functional quote to cash knowledge, including interdependency failures.
  • Experience with 3PL's, supply chain, and logistics management.
  • At least 2 years of customer service, order management, sales administration, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Revenue recognition experience specific to sales operations.
  • Oracle 11i and/or Salesforce experience, or other CRM or ERP experience.
  • Working knowledge of terms and conditions with a high comfort level with business translation and application.
