We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented SMB Account Executive to join our team at Semrush. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to optimize growth
  • Identify and close cross-sell and up-sell opportunities using the Semrush suite of products
  • Deliver a value-based selling experience to our customers, leveraging automation and customer behavior insights
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success team to ensure high customer retention within your book of business
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets, including calls, connections, demos, and emails
  • Work with our Product Specialists to introduce new product offerings to your book of business and drive sales
  • Efficiently manage and maintain a 100% customer portfolio on a monthly basis
  • Accurately forecast monthly sales and retention achievement to management
  • Contribute feedback to the larger Semrush organization, utilizing strong analytical thinking, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience in sales or business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and present verbally and in writing
  • Technical savvy and adaptability in a constantly changing environment, with the ability to quickly master new technology
  • Knowledge of the internet and social media
  • A high degree of independent thinking and self-responsibility
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and able to meet monthly deadlines and achieve results
  • Strong enthusiasm and positivity, along with a commitment to creating excellent experiences
  • A growth mindset, with the willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Google Docs, Gmail, and Salesforce or CRM
