Medical Assistant Professional

The Medical Assistant I plays a vital role in maintaining a smooth patient flow, ensuring timely care, and supporting physicians and nurses in delivering exceptional patient care. To excel in this position, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additionally, you must complete a medical terminology course within six months of starting the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment, ensuring patient privacy and safety.
Sterilize procedural supplies and obtain vital signs on patients, including weight, height, blood pressure, pulse ox, and pulse.
Assist with simple procedures, such as skin lesion removal, and complete medication reconciliation in the office.
Assist with paperwork completion of diabetic supply forms.
