About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team as a Lead Engineer in our Civil Engineering & Renewable Energy department. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from concept development to construction, and to lead a team of engineers and technicians in delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver civil engineering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other external partners to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest civil engineering techniques, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to lead and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
