Park Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Park Superintendent to join our team at Big Spring State Park. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the preservation, protection, and administration of the park's natural and cultural resources.

• Manage and conserve the park's natural and cultural resources, including visitor protection and stewardship.
• Develop and implement financial management plans, including budget planning and revenue management.
• Oversee leased concession contracts and human resources management.
• Ensure security and safety programs are in place and maintained.
• Perform maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Provide customer service and public relations, marketing, and promotion.
• Manage interpretive and educational programs, and coordinate special events.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of experience in natural/cultural resource management, interpretation, education, general maintenance, public safety, promotions, or public relations/marketing.
• One year of experience as a supervisor or team leader.
• Valid State driver's license.
