Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infant Lead Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for infants and toddlers. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement daily educational programs for infants and toddlers, incorporating a range of activities and experiences that promote learning and development
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and communication
  • Collaborate with other educators to share best practices, resources, and ideas, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to childcare
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
