Staff Registered Nurse II

University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse II - Infusion to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a culturally competent manner.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse II - Infusion will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing infusion therapy.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide education to patients and families on infusion therapy and related care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current/valid nursing license
- BSN required
- At least 2 years of relevant prior nursing experience in a related field or acute care setting
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card preferred
- Recent experience in administering chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent patient experience skills and ability to communicate effectively
