We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Community Medical Center in Missoula, Montana.

The LPN will utilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting
  • Acting as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model and teacher for assistive personnel
  • Meeting the minimum requirements:
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
    • Licensed or eligible for licensing in the State of Montana as a Licensed Practical Nurse
    • One (1) year of acute care nursing experience
    • Current BLS upon hire, Healthcare Provider BLS within 3 months of hire
    • Proficiency in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills
    • ACLS within 6 months of hire

Preferred qualifications include recent hospital experience and Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS upon hire.
