Professional Surveyor

At Martin/Martin Consulting Engineers, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Surveyor to join our team. As a Professional Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in conducting survey work, applying knowledge of surveying principles and techniques in land and construction surveying.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct survey work with minimal daily supervision, applying knowledge of surveying principles and techniques in land and construction surveying.
- Develop project management skills and represent Martin/Martin in project meetings.
- Promote survey work and assist with survey proposal preparation.
- Write and review legal descriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process and analyze fieldwork data.
- Coordinate between office and fieldwork.
- Research public records and interpret legal descriptions.
- Perform initial analysis of documentary and physical evidence.
- Direct computations for control surveys, subdivision sections, boundary analysis, and construction staking.
- Train and mentor personnel.
- Reduce and analyze GPS Control surveys.
- Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, and plats.
- Sign and stamp legal descriptions you have prepared or reviewed.
- Graduation from High School or GED equivalent.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License and violation record acceptable to the companies Auto Insurance carrier.
- Minimum of eight years survey experience.
- Professional Land Surveyors license (P.L.S.).
- Ability to conduct business with clients.
- Ability to do advanced survey calculations.
- Has field experience as crew chief.
- Experience as a surveyor group manager.
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in survey technology or civil engineering.
- Be experienced in work in both the field and office.
