Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Professional Land Surveyor to oversee and manage survey technicians, perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews, and conduct detailed research at the town, county, and state levels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead and grow a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage survey technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  • Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews to identify potential project constraints.
  • Conduct detailed research at the town, county, and state levels to determine the best approach to complete projects.
  • Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints.
  • Communicate with crew chiefs and our operations team on a daily basis to ensure project progress.
  • Collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and the operations team to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.
Requirements
  • A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the state of Colorado is required, with additional state licensure being a plus.
  • Field and office experience in land surveying is essential, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating new revenue.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take direction and grow with the company.
  • A proven track record of leading and growing a team.
  • Self-motivation, drive, and the ability to work remotely.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is required, with proficiency in Quickbase to log job statuses being a plus.
