Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Land Surveyor to join our team at Knott Laboratory, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing boundary and topographical surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements and right-of-way, research, and subdivision platting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform boundary and topographical surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easements and right-of-way, research, and subdivision platting.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, drafting, and business development.
  • Direct drafting technicians and ensure proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Manage projects and collaborate with stakeholders including clients, peers, and junior staff.
  • Work remotely and balance multiple projects.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Professional Licensed Surveyor.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado, required.
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licensure during employment with Knott Laboratory.
  • Resident of the Front Range area, Colorado.
  • Knowledgeable with professional survey standards, codes, and survey-related procedures.
  • Prior experience directing drafting technicians and proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Project management experience and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Colorado Driver's license and driving record which meets KL Safety Program requirements.
