Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthetic care to patients, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, intraoperative care, and postoperative rounds.
  • Direct the activities of nurse anesthetists and participate in teaching and research programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology and/or Critical Care Certification.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia.
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and teaching skills.
