Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our team at VCU Health - MCV Physicians. As a key member of our Department of Anesthesiology, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional anesthetic care to our patients, advancing the knowledge of the specialty, and educating the next generation of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthetic care to patients at VCUHS, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, intraoperative anesthetic care, postoperative rounds, resuscitation, and intensive care.
  • Direct the activities of nurse anesthetists and participate in the didactic teaching programs of the Department.
  • Contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive faculty, staff, and student environment.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • ABA Board eligible/certified in Anesthesiology and/or certified/eligible for Critical Care Certification
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia
  • Good communication, clinical, and teaching skills
