We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Volunteer Driver to transport children to family visits, therapy sessions, and other appointments. As a Volunteer Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport children to appointments and family visits in a safe and timely manner
  • Verify directions and pick-up times with caregivers
  • Ensure safety measures are in place, including car seats and seatbelts
  • Notify staff of significant events or concerns
  • Record mileage and parking costs and submit monthly expense reports

Requirements:

  • Competent and safe adult driver
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive in rural areas
  • Ability to relate to children in a warm and caring manner
  • Ability to manage child behavior if necessary
  • Well-organized and dependable individual
  • Good communication skills and mature problem-solving ability
