Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities, events, and programs for residents
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and community partners
  • Coordinate transportation and escorts for residents to and from activities
  • Assist with maintaining and expanding volunteer programs
  • Assist with maintaining adequate supplies and department budget
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in recreational therapy or related field preferred
  • Gerontology experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
