Job Title: Mobile Medical Technician

DispatchHealth is seeking a skilled Mobile Medical Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Medical Technician, you will work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified mobile laboratory, providing patient care and gaining valuable experience in mobile healthcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
  • Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
  • IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
  • Splint application
  • Wound care
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point of care laboratory equipment
  • Perform EKGs
  • Assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
  • Documentation
  • Supply and stocking
Requirements:
  • Medical Technician with IV Certification
  • Basic Certification with North Carolina, EMT License (hiring credential only)
  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and experience using an i-STAT device are encouraged to apply
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • BLS, American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
