About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Therapeutic Alternatives. As a Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing crisis response services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis response services 24/7, including telephone and face-to-face interventions.
  • Develop and implement crisis plans for recipients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate movement across levels of care and facilitate discharge planning.
  • Monitor and manage presenting psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms, providing linkage to appropriate services as needed.
  • Document all services provided, including daily full service notes and other relevant documentation.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and consumer conferences, reporting any changes in consumer condition or needs to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • Must be a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist, or Registered Nurse in the state of NC.
  • A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services.
  • At least four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served.
  • Must have a valid NC Driver's License and maintain during duration of employment.
  • Must have a clear DMV record and maintain during duration of employment.
