We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Berman Nissan of Chicago. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their vehicle maintenance and repair experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers promptly, obtaining necessary information, and clearly communicating vehicle symptoms and recommended maintenance.
  • Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.
  • Prepare accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts, and establish follow-up times to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle and update customers frequently to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Verify the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair orders, and comfortably explain all completed work and charges to the customer.

Qualifications

  • Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • A self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit are highly valued.
  • Eagerness to continuously improve and provide exceptional customer service is essential.
  • Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members are required.
  • A clean driving record and valid driver's license are necessary.
  • Must be willing to submit a background screening.
