About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Tufts Medical Center. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive high-quality meals and nourishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date diet order information to ensure patients receive appropriate meals and nourishments.
  • Deliver trays to patients and pick up trays from patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and assemble patient trays with normal menu items, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and special items.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from assigned workstations and kitchen areas.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions, including making change and issuing receipts.
  • Communicate with Registered Dietitians for nutrition consultations and to improve patient care.
