In this role, you will be pivotal in fostering an environment that excites both internal and external guests. Your mission is to deliver 'Real Life Magic' to our patrons through exceptional service, consistently going above and beyond. The culinary runner is crucial in ensuring that hot meals are delivered promptly from the kitchen to the guests, while also assisting servers, chefs, and the front-of-house manager with various tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Actively build and maintain guest relationships, serving as a mentor to fellow employees to enhance guest service.
  • Demonstrate strong preparation skills, including stocking necessary items for service, adhering to health department regulations, and assisting with the final presentation of dishes.
  • Contribute positively to the work environment through a cooperative attitude and teamwork.
  • Report any safety hazards to management immediately.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by management, including side work and cleaning duties.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and allergens.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and foster strong relationships with the serving staff and culinary team.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively in high-volume situations.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures regarding phone etiquette, personal appearance, timing, attendance, and guest interactions.
  • Possess general knowledge of the resort and surrounding area.
  • Obtain and maintain a RAMP certification through the state.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
