Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team at Nemacolin Inc. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Department, you will be responsible for assisting in overseeing all day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that every guest experience is a memorable one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Guest Service: Provide internal and external guest service that exceeds Nemacolin's standards, going above and beyond to ensure every guest has a positive experience.
  • Build and Retain Guest Relations: Actively build and retain guest relations, acting as a mentor to other employees and coworkers to provide superior guest service.
  • Restaurant Operations: Responsible for all day-to-day restaurant operations, including communicating directly and on behalf of the owner, executives, associates, family members, and others on matters related to owner's interest.
  • Financial Management: Meet all financial goals in accordance with budget, working closely with the Chef de Cuisine and Restaurant Manager to create an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Payroll and Scheduling: Approve all schedules created by management team, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate all resort news to associates as needed, attending all mandatory meetings within department and resort, and following up with guest concerns in a timely fashion.
  • Budgeting and Compliance: Assist in creating yearly operating budget, ensuring all compliance requirements are met, and providing impartial coaching and instructive feedback to all Food and Beverage leaders during training, service, and recovery investigations.
  • Guest Satisfaction and Engagement: Responsible for guest satisfaction, ensuring Forbes Five Star and/or Four Diamond standards are achieved and sustained, and regularly responsible for associate engagement and providing feedback on creating a positive atmosphere for associates.
