Job Summary

The Omni Inclusive team is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Validation Engineer to lead electrical feature testing for specific vehicle programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with suppliers, engineering support teams, and manufacturing teams to validate and resolve electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive test plans for electrical features across the vehicle, including cluster, radio, body control module, telematics, and powertrain.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans (DVP&R) at the vehicle level, ensuring seamless integration with various systems.
  • Report defects based on test plan failures, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for resolution.
  • Design and maintain subsystem test benches, ensuring efficient and effective testing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues found, identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with system requirements teams to ensure specifications are testable, providing valuable feedback and insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Relevant automotive experience, with a strong understanding of CAN-based communication and tools like CANAlyzer and CANOE.
  • Proficiency in using multimeters and oscilloscopes, with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of CAN-FD and Ethernet protocol, with experience in creating test plans and performing system behavior testing.
