Job Summary

Amentum, a leading provider of critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Seasonal Laborer to join our team at a military base in Colorado. This is a seasonal position with a competitive hourly rate of $17.20, plus an additional $4.98 in lieu of cash for Health and Welfare benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including cutting grass or weeds with a mower, riding or hand, trimming hedges and edges around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, weed eaters, clippers, and edging tools.
  • Hand weed-pulling, raking, and mulching landscapes.
  • May drive ATV's, Kubota's, and other small equipment or tractors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands

On a continuous basis, must be able to pull, push, lift, or carry for 50 feet, sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist for varying periods in the course of work.

Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • Must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including successfully completing a thorough background investigation.
  • Some directly related experience preferred and/or formal vocational/technical training and be physically able to handle the job responsibilities.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license.
  • For positions requiring use of a Company and/or Customer vehicle, must have a safe driving record within the past 36 months, as defined by Company policy.
  • Must be 18 years of age and must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
