Role Overview
In this 24-hour operational program, the Assistant Program Director will oversee the direct management of facility personnel, clients, and the surrounding community. This role includes promptly communicating any observations or concerns to the Program Director. The Assistant Program Director will ensure operational effectiveness while adhering to the mission of Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana (VOAOHIN) and fulfilling contract, funding, and accreditation obligations.

Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field, along with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience. Candidates with five (5) to seven (7) years of transferable supervisory experience will also be considered. The role demands proven skills in staff training, supervision, leadership, and both oral and written communication. Essential character traits include dependability, integrity, and fairness.
