Job Summary:
Comtech Telecom is seeking a skilled Program Manager to oversee the successful management of Comtech's Next Generation 9-1-1 with the State of Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, technical account management, or project management in a telecom or technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all aspects of the account lifecycle, including service solution implementation and deployment, and be fully accountable for ongoing support and new solutions business development.
  • Drive the completion of company-critical NG9-1-1 deployments to meet customer contracts and maximize profitability.
  • Build a deep understanding of the customer environment and needs, as well as the 911 centers (Public Safety Answering Points), including key influencers and decision makers and business challenges, goals/problems of the account, and how COMTECH solutions could solve these problems.
  • Manage projects/programs that span across many stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Drive resolution of customer issues that may span cross-functional business groups within COMTECH and with External Providers.
  • Closely monitor service delivery quality and customer feedback in partnership with implementation and support teams.
  • Exercise good judgment in escalating issues either internally or with the customer.
  • Coordinate with the activities of Sales, Product Management, and other account stakeholders.
  • Drive incremental profitability through identification of new projects and programs.
Requirements:
  • BS/Technical degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience within the telephony industry or related fields.
  • 5-8 years' experience working in a Technical Account Management, Program Management, or Project Management role in a telecom or technology-driven environment.
  • 5+ years' experience in a customer-facing role leading technically oriented program statuses, presentations, and discussions to customers and various levels of management.
  • 5+ years' experience and proficiency handling multiple complex projects simultaneously with limited oversight.
