The Job

As a Residential Support Staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. This includes maintaining accurate log entries, performing regular hourly rounds, and conducting bedroom checks to ensure resident safety.

  • Perform regular hourly rounds inside and outside the program.
  • Conduct bedroom checks to ensure resident safety.
  • Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner (e.g., incident reports).

Responsibilities

You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate log entries.
  • Ensuring client/resident safety and cleanliness of the House at all times.
  • Clearing sidewalks, porches, stairs, and doorways of debris, snow, and other obstacles to allow proper access and egress.

Requirements

We require a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual with:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance and punctual reporting for work. Experience working with a diverse population is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Competent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (MHSA will provide training opportunities).
