Position Overview

We offer a unique chance to leverage your engineering expertise in the exciting realm of AI and Machine Learning. We are seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented engineer who is enthusiastic about analytics technology and values customer engagement. In this role, you will be responsible for the remote implementation of Prometheus APM, overseeing plant operations, and collaborating directly with clients to ensure they derive maximum value from our software solutions. If you possess an engineering background and excel at problem-solving through a combination of applied engineering, advanced technology, and customer interaction, this is an ideal opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-evolving tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Prometheus APM for new clients.
  • Analyze and organize customer process data (pressure, temperature, flows, vibrations, etc.).
  • Configure fundamental performance calculations (efficiency, effectiveness, etc.).
  • Easily construct machine learning models using Prometheus APM's automated model deployment tools.
  • Monitor client plant operations.
  • Identify risks, escalate customer issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review alerts generated by Prometheus APM's AI and machine learning models.
  • Diagnose the root causes of operational discrepancies and collaborate with on-site teams to create and implement remediation plans.
  • Track data in Prometheus APM to confirm resolution of issues.
  • Lead regular business reviews with clients, reinforcing the value of Prometheus APM solutions in addressing critical plant challenges.
  • Guide clients through the adoption of Prometheus APM while driving high ROI, leading to subscription renewals.
  • Foster customer relationships through video calls and occasional on-site engagements.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to relevant Product Teams, ensuring their needs are prioritized.
  • Identify company-wide incremental opportunities and collaborate closely with Product and Sales Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-7 years of engineering experience in industrial process environments (Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, etc.).
  • Proven ability to adopt new technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills; ability to nurture and retain accounts, build relationships, and quickly identify and communicate potential risks and issues.
  • Customer-oriented, organized, excellence-driven, and personable.
  • Problem Solver – adept at identifying the root causes of complex operational challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey operational findings and recommended actions.
