Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Coordinator - Ambulatory Surgery to join our team at Samaritan Health Services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThis position plays a critical role in providing excellent patient care and ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating pre, intra, and post-operative care for surgical and procedural sedation patients. You will work closely with a variety of provider specialties to deliver high-quality care that meets the needs of our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling, registration, and discharge processes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate information exchange
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address patient needs
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current unencumbered Oregon RN license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Samaritan Health Services offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
