About the Role

This Registered Nurse position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for providing safe and age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

About the Department

The Ambulatory Surgery department at Samaritan Health Services provides pre, intra, and post-op care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including endoscopy and non-surgical procedures completed in the SDC unit.

About the Job

We are looking for a registered nurse who can effectively communicate with patients and caregivers, possess a basic understanding of age-related differences in caring, and have personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others. As an ambulatory care nurse specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of provider specialties and develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

The salary for this position is approximately $$83,400 per year, based on national averages and considering the location and industry standards.
