Key Responsibilities

This role is integral to a collaborative team comprised of Income Tax, Sales & Use, and Property Tax specialists who are dedicated to contributing to the organization's success. Daily tasks for this Senior Tax Analyst include assisting with specialized tax projects, which may involve:

  • Supporting the preparation, analysis, and upkeep of the fixed and intangible asset data warehouse for tax depreciation and amortization calculations.
  • Extracting insights from data, identifying discrepancies, and proactively finding solutions to ensure data integrity.
  • Fostering relationships with accounting, finance, IT, and other departments to achieve set objectives.
  • Contributing to the design, analysis, and automation of various business improvement initiatives and developing applications to enhance tax processes.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, along with federal and state income tax returns.
  • Researching technical tax matters and drafting technical memoranda.
  • Collaborating with external consultants on diverse tax-related projects.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer science, or a related technical discipline, along with two or more years of corporate or consulting experience.
  • Experience with income tax provisions is preferred but not mandatory.
  • CPA certification and/or experience with Big 4 firms or business analysis consulting is advantageous but not essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Longview, CorpTax, Alteryx, Visio, and Tableau is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex models are required.
  • Willingness to learn about OneStream, Orbit Analytics, or similar applications.
  • SQL querying experience is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects, and adjust priorities as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges from $63,150.00 to $90,000.00 annually.
