Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Imaging Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for scheduling complex imaging and medical procedures, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule imaging exams and procedures, utilizing multiple computer applications and precise scheduling protocols.
  • Obtain and manage all critical information needed to correctly and efficiently schedule and process imaging exams.
  • Work in a fast-paced, close-quarters, high-call volume environment, utilizing excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of exams and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of patient information, exam schedules, and procedure details.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of medical and/or clerical experience.
  • Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience.
  • Coursework or training in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Diagnostic imaging experience is a plus.
