Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon.

This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours of work per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech, be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified, and possess a strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on the CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as required.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
