Physician Scheduling Coordinator for Cardiovascular Surgery

About the Role
The Physician Scheduling Coordinator position at Maine Medical Partners – Cardiovascular Surgery is a critical role that requires a high degree of organization and attention to detail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the schedules of our surgeons, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for our surgeons
- Coordinate with patients and staff to schedule appointments and procedures
- Process prior authorizations and other administrative tasks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our surgeons and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous medical office experience with scheduling experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
