We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Supervisor to join our team at Chadwell Supply. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between our distribution facilities, customers, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily transportation schedules and routes to ensure efficient delivery of goods and materials.
- Lead and manage a team of delivery drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct daily truck inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition and maintain accurate records.
- Manage fuel cards, fuel receipts, and ignition keys for all delivery fleet vehicles.
- Assist with training new delivery drivers and ensure they are familiar with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with branch supervision to recognize and reward safe driving practices and achievements.
- 3+ years of experience as a delivery driver and 1+ year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read road maps, follow GPS directions, and navigate highways and roads efficiently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and performance-based bonuses.
- Full-time schedule with Monday-Friday hours, with flexibility to adjust as needed.
