Key Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries related to orders, pricing, and other service-related questions.
• Set clear expectations with clients and the sales team to ensure transparent communication regarding product availability and delivery timelines.
• Inform customers or sales representatives about any delays or issues, collaborating with the Plant Manager to find resolutions.
• Foster and maintain robust business relationships with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams.
• Review and input purchase orders into the ERP system accurately.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to manage shipment activities and follow up on customer requests.
• Ensure the ERP system is updated with precise customer information, holding all parties accountable for timely and detailed communication.
• Generate and analyze reports to prioritize shipping activities for the following day, communicating any concerns to the sales team or customers.
• Perform clerical duties including the organization, creation, and scanning of shipping documents such as packing slips, invoices, and bills of lading.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and brokers for freight booking.
• May assist in gathering samples and managing sample inventory, which includes shipping samples, maintaining an organized sample area, and coordinating with the inventory manager.
