About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center Operations Supervisor to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our plasma center, ensuring efficient plasma collections, and providing exceptional customer service to our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise center operations daily activities, providing clear and consistent instructions and directions to staff.
  • Facilitate donor movement throughout the center, minimizing wait times and processing.
  • Ensure the center is staffed with adequate personnel to provide sufficient support based on center size, structure, and donor flow.
  • Conduct error investigations and develop recommendations for process improvement.
  • Participate in conducting performance appraisals, providing performance feedback, and documenting verbal and written coaching level corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of center operation staff.
  • Adhere to and promote compliance to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring sufficient operating supplies and forms are available.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
  • Will be cross-trained in all technical areas and other functions to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory, leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of others required.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. You will be frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and to blood-borne pathogens. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas.
