We are in search of an energetic Real Estate Team Development Leader who can elevate our market center's performance. Your role will encompass attracting exceptional talent, supporting our current associates, and playing a vital part in the strategic vision of our office.
Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Cambridge, MA; In-Office (must be within a 20-minute commute)
Compensation: $80,000 base plus bonuses based on recruitment. Past annual compensation for the role: $200 - $300,000 per year.

Recruitment and Growth:
• Set and achieve monthly and weekly appointment targets
• Maintain consistent contact volume goals on a monthly and weekly basis
• Strive to minimize appointment cancellations, keeping them below a specified threshold
• Conduct regular meetings with a set number of experienced recruits monthly
• Aim to recruit and onboard a specific number of experienced associates each month
• Consistently monitor and document recruitment activities and outcomes
• Utilize established recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent
• Regularly update and maintain the recruiting database and pipeline management system
Leadership and Development:
• Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to lead the Associate Leadership Council (ALC)
• Mentor the top 20% of associates in enhancing their production and becoming role models
• Provide strategic recommendations for company success in changing market conditions
• Engineer predictable profit through Cap Management
• Coordinate with the Director of Career Development on new hire onboarding and training
Community Engagement:
• Build relationships with potential recruits through industry events and broker opens
• Guide associates in fostering connections within the local agent community
• Collaborate with the Growth Committee to drive recruiting efforts
• Analyze competition and adjust strategies to successfully compete for talent
Top 20% Focus:
• Lead and mentor the top 20% of associates to enhance production, GCI, and profitability
• Contribute to associate wealth-building, including profit share opportunities
Qualifications
• Proven track record of success in real estate sales and leadership
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Proficiency with CRM systems and real estate technology platforms
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per month (10 hours per week) on recruiting activities
Key Performance Indicators:
• Number of appointments set and met
• Number of experienced associates recruited per month
• Growth in market center production and profitability
• Associate retention and satisfaction rates
