Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team at Dollar Tree. As an integral part of our Human Resources Department, you will play a key role in supporting associates with HR-related matters and working closely with Distribution Center Managers to ensure accurate records and pay rates are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and hire top talent for our Distribution Centers
  • Create and post internal job openings, setting up job files and reviewing internal candidates
  • Handle pre-employment drug testing and create new associate personnel folders
  • Monitor completion of new hire paperwork and order badges for all associates
  • Conduct new employee orientations and assist with initial phone screens on applicants
  • Assist with scheduling candidates for orientations and data entry/HR system changes
  • Support Kronos timekeeping and various HR compliance functions
  • Assist with retention efforts and attendance tracking
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Three years of administrative office experience with knowledge of Distribution Center practices and procedures
  • Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Internet
  • Strong focus on customer service and previous Human Resources experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
