Cybersecurity Leadership Position

The Perennial Resources International team is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Leadership Position to lead the implementation of our organization's cybersecurity controls. This role will be responsible for managing cybersecurity projects, participating in infrastructure projects, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to implement new security controls and troubleshoot existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of cybersecurity controls based on the NIST framework.
Continuously measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls in place.
Work with vendors, carriers, and other IT teams to implement new security controls and troubleshoot existing controls.
Lead cross-functional efforts to develop and maintain cybersecurity alerts.

Incident Response and Forensics:

Monitor and analyze cybersecurity events. Coordinate with partners and internal teams as needed.
Lead Incident Response efforts across on-premises and cloud environments, including containment, eradication, and recovery activities. Conduct/participate in digital forensics investigations to analyze security incidents and identify root causes.

Integrations:

Validate and identify risks associated with system integrations.
Assist in the evaluation of new software, SaaS platforms, and business services to ensure they meet cybersecurity best practices.
Provide expertise in integration and engineering of Security platforms.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity industry; multiple functions experience is preferred.
Hands-on network, server, and endpoint security experience with implementing and maintaining security controls and patch management in distributed on-premises environments and cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).
Strong network security experience.
Strong project management experience.
Strong experience in performing security risk assessments.
Incident Response and Incident Response Plan development experience is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area, or equivalent experience.
CISM, CISSP, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
MS Azure, AWS, and other relevant infrastructure certifications are preferred.
PMP or PGPM PMI Certification or equivalent are preferred.
