About the Role

As an Operations Manager at Ulta Beauty, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to deliver top-line sales growth through operational excellence. This includes managing all aspects of store operations, such as realignments, planograms, and inventory life cycle-related processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of Beauty Advisors and Task Associates to achieve sales and payroll goals, and complete operational task workload on time and within the payroll budget.
  • Operational Excellence: Utilize the company's task management system to prioritize and execute all operational focuses, including ad set processes, visual sets, planograms, realignments, and inventory life-cycle related processes.
  • Financial Management: Forecast and adjust the store's payroll to maximize productivity, achieve sales and payroll goals, and complete operational task workload on time and within the payroll budget.
  • Guest Engagement: Execute the Guest Engagement Leader program flawlessly through business ownership, associate coaching, and leading a helpful and friendly guest experience.
  • Inventory Management: Manage supply inventory and ordering processes, ensuring allocated budget is adhered to, and necessary products for services and retail are on hand.
  • Loss Prevention: Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, and loss prevention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement by influencing the adoption of company initiatives and technology, communicating expectations, and ensuring the execution of all store tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management or other relevant work experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with basic technology, excellent written and verbal communication, strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, and ability to react under pressure.
