Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Intensive Care Unit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our board-certified specialists and emergency professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Triage incoming patients and manage client relationships
- Partner with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates
- Utilize radiology imaging modalities for patient assessment
- Execute, monitor, and recover sedation and anesthetic events
- Provide exceptional client care to maintain long-term relationships
- 2 years' experience as a veterinary assistant/technician in a progressive general practice or 1 year in a specialty practice
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a high-performance culture
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, laboratory, radiographic, and anesthetic equipment
