At Willis Towers Watson, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Surety Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our producers and account executives in all prospecting and account management initiatives related to surety and insurance clients with surety needs.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong background in the surety industry, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role
  • You will manage day-to-day client needs, including bond requests, billing issues, and bond reports.
  • Responsible for requesting periodic informational updates, analyzing them, and communicating data to underwriters.
  • You will respond to clients' needs and questions relating to account bond programs, project limits, and specific project opportunities.
  • Communicate with underwriters on the status of account or individual bond approvals.
  • You will issue original bonds as needed.
  • Work with the surety team to develop appropriate carrier submissions and present final proposals to prospects.
  • Gather information from prospective clients, complete high-level bond reviews, and assist in resolving carrier and client accounting, billing, and collections issues.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients/peers/sureties.
  • Support other surety staff as needed or assigned.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
Qualifications
  • P&C licensed.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a Surety environment.
  • Insurance-related and other professional designations highly desirable.
  • Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Qualified candidates will be those who demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, teamwork, and prioritization skills, and highly effective customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities using sound judgment and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Must be results-oriented.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service to the client and the sureties.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing duties and multi-tasking, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and utilize EPIC.
  • Willingness to participate in surety industry events.
  • Independently carry out specific assignments and tasks.
