Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including brake presses, turret presses, laser cutters, and welding machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement repairs
- Operate manual machinery in the maintenance shop, including manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders
- Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or repair work
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience working with CNC machinery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
