Maintenance Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ASG Staffing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 480V / 240V, 3 phase, and single-phase systems.
  • Manage plumbing repairs and installations, from black pipe threading to PVC work.
  • Address building maintenance issues such as lighting and water problems.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on equipment projects and utility rearrangements.
  • Read and interpret technical documents like drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of maintenance or related experience desired.
  • Experience troubleshooting VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with turret press and press brake operation and repair.
  • Basic understanding of air compressor repair and hoist operation.
  • HVAC system knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, occasionally exceeding 100 pounds.
  • Perform tasks requiring physical exertion such as standing, walking, climbing, and stooping.
  • Work at heights up to 30 feet using appropriate safety measures.
