Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at the University of Vermont Health Network. This role will provide clinical and clerical support to our Sleep Lab, assisting with overnight operations and ensuring the smooth flow of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with overnight activities in the Sleep Lab, including managing patient flow and reconciling medications.
  • Support Polysomnogram Technologists with overnight operations, including coordinating logistical support for patients and families.
  • Provide general comfort and oversight to patients throughout overnight procedures.
  • Manage durable medical equipment orders and help prepare documentation for upcoming patient visits to our sleep medicine clinic.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in a relevant area preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.
