Role Summary

The Senior Financial Business Analyst role is pivotal in managing the consolidation, reporting, and analysis of critical financial and operational performance indicators. This position collaborates closely with finance and operational leaders across different regions to guarantee timely and accurate reporting of essential metrics. The analyst will consolidate global data, conduct trend assessments, and provide qualitative insights to inform executive and leadership teams. This role also involves aligning metrics with the company's operational strategies and goals, ensuring focused and effective reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports, along with specialized analyses to support business objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and analyze issues, providing management with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain various operational reporting tools to enhance decision-making.
  • Deliver analytical support comparing actual results against budget forecasts and evaluating proposed business strategies.
  • Consolidate data reports to facilitate data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Perform analysis related to any recommended changes, ensuring thorough evaluations.
  • Engage in additional ad-hoc analyses and responsibilities as required.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and synthesize complex information and large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing projects to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle HFM/EPM is advantageous.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
