Plastics Engineer

Sensus, a leading global water technology company, is seeking a skilled Plastics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Plastics Injection Molding Department, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new injection molded parts, designing and maintaining mold tooling, and ensuring safe manufacturing practices.

• Design, manufacture, and maintain mold tooling to meet production requirements
• Assist mold setup personnel in new product tryouts and troubleshoot molding defects
• Investigate and specify new manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with the Quality Department to correct product defects and ensure compliance with industry standards

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in plastics injection molding, mold design, and manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of mold flow analysis, product design, and development
• Proficiency in ProE and AutoCad, with experience in machine shop operations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
