Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Staples, Inc. This is a strategic selling position that requires strong business acumen, financial knowledge, and the ability to analyze industry trends to create tailored solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and win net-new medium to large potential business customers
  • Ramp and onboard net-new won accounts to further expand our customer base
  • Map a prospecting strategy for largest potential customers and engage proper selling partners to close/win the account
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management Team and Sales Engineer to make discretionary pricing decisions
  • Work closely with Sr Account Executives to ensure ramping of wins
  • Execute strategies defined by Senior Leadership Team
Requirements
  • Consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills
  • Strong business, financial, operations and technology acumen
  • Ability to analyze business and industry trends to create tailored solutions for prospects
  • Ability to function independently with minimal daily supervision
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
  • Experience and proven track record of business development
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
