We are in search of a highly skilled Staff QA Engineer to enhance our innovative team.

In this essential position, you will take charge of designing and executing advanced testing strategies to guarantee the delivery of superior software products. As a vital member of our engineering division, you will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other key stakeholders to establish and execute top-tier quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the formulation and ongoing enhancement of our QA strategy, encompassing thorough test planning, efficient test execution, and meaningful process enhancements.
  • Design, implement, and sustain highly effective automated testing scripts and frameworks to significantly boost test coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Perform detailed manual testing when automation is not applicable, ensuring that all features and functionalities adhere to quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to comprehend requirements and uphold product quality.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on software defects, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high standards of product quality.
  • Conduct performance, scalability, and stress testing to verify that the software can manage anticipated workloads.
  • Identify areas for enhancement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies, driving initiatives for continuous improvement within the team.
  • Evaluate risks linked to product releases and provide insights for risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), scripting languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, JavaScript), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting complex challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
